How to recognise it

This sign is a square in blue, used only for motorist services. Blue for motorist services such as fuel, food, lodging and hospitals. Brown for parks, recreation and cultural sites. Neither colour is ever used for a rule.

What the test wants you to know

Blue is used for motorist services only and never for a rule or a warning. If a question offers a blue sign as the answer to a right of way problem, it is wrong by definition.

Practise it

Reading about a sign is not the same as recognising it in half a second with an examiner watching. Every state road signs test on this site shows the sign and asks you to name it, then shows four faces and asks you to pick the right one.
