This site runs on figures that are supposed to be checked against a named source. When one of them is wrong, or a page is broken, telling us is the fastest way to get it fixed.
What to write in about
- A number on a state page that does not match its source.
- A practice question that is unclear, mismarked, or cites the wrong section.
- The result of a public records request that touches something published here.
- A correction to anything else on the site.
What to include
A message is easiest to act on when it names the state, includes the page URL, and says which source you were looking at when you noticed the problem. A link or a screenshot of that source helps more than a description of it.
What happens after
Corrections are checked against the source you point to, then applied and dated. Every change shows up in the verification log the same day it is made. There is no fixed response time to promise here, but every message that names a state and a page gets read.
How the site is funded
Every test, every state page and every guide here is free to use, and there is no signup, no paywall and no fee for any of it. Advertising is what pays for the hosting and the research time that keeps it that way. PracticeDMV does not sell visitor data, and what a question cites never depends on who pays for a placement. The methodology page sets out how the answers are sourced.
