Fuel is sold at the next exit.
Usually grouped with food and lodging icons on one panel, with a separate logo sign listing specific brands appearing closer to the exit.
How to recognise it
This sign is a square in blue, used only for motorist services. Blue for motorist services such as fuel, food, lodging and hospitals. Brown for parks, recreation and cultural sites. Neither colour is ever used for a rule.
What the test wants you to know
A blue sign only confirms the exit has gas stations, not that any of them are open at that hour or take the payment method in your wallet. On a written exam that gap is usually the wrong answer choice for questions about guaranteed availability.
Practise it
Reading about a sign is not the same as recognising it in half a second with an examiner watching. Every state road signs test on this site shows the sign and asks you to name it, then shows four faces and asks you to pick the right one.
