What the process looks like
- Every first time driver must complete the Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education course before getting a learner license.
- Applicants under 18 can take the knowledge exam online after finishing the course.
- Learner license holders under 18 must hold it for 12 months or until they turn 18, with 50 supervised practice hours including 10 at night.
