North Dakota CDL practice tests
North Dakota's CDL skills test is handled by a small roster of state monitored third party programs, including tribal and technical colleges such as United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck and Turtle Mountain Community College in Belcourt, rather than by state examiners testing drivers directly.
The written exams themselves are federal. North Dakota decides the permit rules, the fees and who runs the skills test, but the knowledge you are tested on comes from 49 CFR Part 383 and is the same in every state, which is why the 145 questions here work wherever you apply.
