Oregon motorcycle permit test
Oregon's rider training credit depends on the classroom format: only the in person classroom version of the Team Oregon Basic Course clears both the DMV knowledge and skills tests, while the online classroom version of the same course clears just the skills half, leaving the written test still due at the DMV.

Honest note: Oregon Driver and Motor Vehicle Services (DMV) does not publish the motorcycle test format anywhere we could confirm, so the 25 question count and pass mark of 20 are the best available figures rather than verified facts. The riding knowledge below is the same either way. Confirm the format with the agency before your appointment.
The rider course rule. Completing Team Oregon's Basic Rider Training course with the in person classroom option satisfies both the DMV knowledge test and the skills test; the same course taken with the online classroom, or the Intermediate course, only satisfies the skills test and the DMV knowledge test is still owed Oregon DMV, Motorcycle Endorsement page, checked 2026-08-28.
