Alabama motorcycle permit test
Alabama treats a 14 year old's moped credential as a full Class M license carrying a size restriction rather than a separate permit, and it lets any licensed driver add the motorcycle endorsement by mail from anywhere just by attaching a copy of an MSF RiderCourse completion card.

Honest note: Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Driver License Division does not publish the motorcycle test format anywhere we could confirm, so the 30 question count and pass mark of 24 are the best available figures rather than verified facts. The riding knowledge below is the same either way. Confirm the format with the agency before your appointment.
The rider course rule. A licensed Alabama driver can add the Class M endorsement without visiting an office at all by mailing ALEA a photocopy of a completed Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic RiderCourse card along with a $5 fee.
