Riding technique does not change at a state line, so these drills are the same wherever you ride. What changes is the paperwork below.
Controls and basic operation
Clutch, throttle, both brakes, the friction zone and starting on a hill.

The format on file, and what is confirmed
Wyoming runs motorcycle learners through two separate permits rather than one: a 90 day restricted permit issued after only a written exam and vision check, then a full one year permit that opens up only once the rider also passes a separate on-cycle riding test.
Format not published by the agency
Wyoming Department of Transportation, Driver Services Program does not publish the motorcycle test format anywhere we could confirm, so the 25 question count and pass mark of 20 are the best available figures rather than verified facts. The riding knowledge below is the same either way. Confirm the format with the agency before your appointment.
Does a course skip the test?
Completing WYDOT's Basic Rider Course waives both the written knowledge test and the on-cycle skills test for a Class M endorsement, as long as the completion card is presented to Driver Services within two years of the course date.
