New Mexico motorcycle permit test
New Mexico does not issue one blanket motorcycle credential. It splits the endorsement into three tiers by engine size, W for 100cc and up, Y for 50 to 99cc, and Z for anything smaller, each tested on a matching machine.

Honest note: New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) does not publish the motorcycle test format anywhere we could confirm, so the 25 question count and pass mark of 20 are the best available figures rather than verified facts. The riding knowledge below is the same either way. Confirm the format with the agency before your appointment.
