The format on file, and what is confirmed
Nebraska's rider-training waiver reaches further than most states by excusing a recent course graduate from both halves of DMV testing at once, the written exam and the on-cycle skills evaluation, as long as the course finished within the previous two years.
Format not published by the agency
Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles does not publish the motorcycle test format anywhere we could confirm, so the 25 question count and pass mark of 20 are the best available figures rather than verified facts. The riding knowledge below is the same either way. Confirm the format with the agency before your appointment.
Does a course skip the test?
Completing a Nebraska-approved motorcycle safety education program within the past 24 months waives both the written and skills tests
