The format on file, and what is confirmed
Massachusetts sets its motorcycle permit passing score at just 72 percent, lower than the 80 percent most states use, and will even let an applicant sit the timed exam by webcam at home instead of visiting a Service Center.

Does a course skip the test?
Completing the Motorcycle Rider Education Program (MREP) lets a learner's permit holder skip the Class M road test, though it does not replace the written permit exam itself.
