The format on file, and what is confirmed
Kansas treats its approved motorcycle driver's education course as a full substitute rather than a shortcut, letting a graduate walk away with a Class M license or endorsement without ever sitting the state's own written or skills test.
Format not published by the agency
Kansas Department of Revenue, Division of Vehicles does not publish the motorcycle test format anywhere we could confirm, so the 25 question count and pass mark of 20 are the best available figures rather than verified facts. The riding knowledge below is the same either way. Confirm the format with the agency before your appointment.
Does a course skip the test?
Completing an approved Kansas motorcycle driver's education course lets an applicant skip the written knowledge test and the on cycle skills test that would otherwise be required for a Class M license or endorsement
