Riding technique does not change at a state line, so these drills are the same wherever you ride. What changes is the paperwork below.
Controls and basic operation
Clutch, throttle, both brakes, the friction zone and starting on a hill.

The format on file, and what is confirmed
Indiana runs two entirely separate front doors to the same endorsement: an Entry Level Motorcycle Safety Course graduate never sees a BMV written or skills exam at all, while the other path still requires a knowledge exam at a branch followed by a skills exam at a different Ride Safe Indiana location.
Format not published by the agency
Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles does not publish the motorcycle test format anywhere we could confirm, so the 25 question count and pass mark of 21 are the best available figures rather than verified facts. The riding knowledge below is the same either way. Confirm the format with the agency before your appointment.
Does a course skip the test?
Completing an authorized Ride Safe Indiana Entry Level Motorcycle Safety Course lets a resident earn the endorsement directly once the provider submits graduation documents to the BMV, skipping the written knowledge exam and skills exam entirely
