Riding technique does not change at a state line, so these drills are the same wherever you ride. What changes is the paperwork below.
Controls and basic operation
Clutch, throttle, both brakes, the friction zone and starting on a hill.

Lane position and being seen

The format on file, and what is confirmed
Delaware is one of the few states where finishing the approved rider course fully substitutes for both the written and road exams at once, and the course is mandatory rather than optional for any applicant under 18.

Does a course skip the test?
Completing Delaware's approved Motorcycle Rider Education Program, the Basic RiderCourse, waives both the written knowledge test and the road skills test
