How states handle it
States with a large Amish population require the buggies themselves to carry a slow moving vehicle emblem, a rule that has little relevance outside those areas.

The mistake people make
These vehicles often travel well under twenty miles an hour and can be hard to judge at dusk since only a small lantern or reflective triangle marks the back. The exam angle here is usually about following distance and patience rather than the sign shape itself.
